Therapist Spotlight: Meet Seb

We know you were a full time tennis player before you turned your hands to massage, what were the highlight of your tennis career?

It has to be getting my world ranking. The feeling when the final point was done and knowing all the hard work and dedication to tennis has paid off and having something that no one can take from you is amazing.

Aside from tennis, golf and massage, any other talents you’d care to share?

I can speak French to quite a good level, South of France has predominantly been the place for family holidays growing up and I’ve been lucky enough to pick up the language!

What 3 words describe you best?

Fun, generous and tall! (Seb is 6ft 7 – if you’re wondering!!)

Who has been the biggest inspiration in your life?

In a sporting term, Rafa Nadal, his passion for tennis and his ‘never give up’ attitude is next to none.

But, in life terms, my parents are a huge inspiration for me, without them, I wouldn’t be here now speaking of all my opportunities I’ve had growing up, they’re amazing people and hopefully I can be a parent like them in the future!

What’s the best thing about working at the Massage Centre?

Being part of this amazing team of fantastic therapists. Everyone has been so kind and made it really easy for me to settle in. The constant help I receive in terms of training and advice, furthering myself as a therapist is brilliant.

What’s on your bucket list?

There’s so many things on my list! The top 2, I’d love to play a round of golf at Augusta and play tennis on centre court at Wimbledon, both are the pinnacle of their respective sports and even just to be stood on either, would be amazing.

What 3 things would you bring to a desert island with you?

Golf equipment, some form of music device and lots of crisps!!

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

Firstly I would repay my parents for everything! Then I would probably travel around the world, especially South America. Lastly, I would buy a house in Provence with a few nice cars, I’m a sucker for an Aston Martin, so if I could fit into one…then I’d get that.
