Vlad Ivanov

Background

Vlad was brought up in the seaside town of Varna, Bulgaria. His love for this profession was sparked by his relative, a Doctor of Medicine. He started his massage apprenticeship in his early twenties with medical professionals in holistic medical & SPA centres and acquired his sports massage therapist qualification. Vlad’s passion is helping his clients with their physical recovery and pain management. He has experience assisting stroke victims rehabilitate and has worked in hospice environments. Vlad’s philosophy is that movement is life. He is dedicated to learning and developing and becoming the best that he can be. He feels that his move to London 7 years ago with the love of his life has been a huge growth opportunity, working in hospitality to learn a new language, and then as a care assistant before finally getting back to the career he loves so well – remedial massage therapy!

Interests and Hobbies

Vlad’s love for jazz and soul music stems from his early high-school years when studying classical guitar. In the past few years, this has also led to his desire (and ok attempts) to play the trumpet. In his free time, you can find Vlad at a live music event, on a long walk in nature or bird watching along the Thames river path. Vlad is an avid callisthenics practitioner and dabbles in yoga, so is eager to talk about them.
