Therapist Spotlight: Meet Vega

What makes a great massage for Vega?

It depends how I feel on the day: a great therapist who listens to my needs and I’m lucky to work with a few of them.

What’s the best thing about working at the Massage Centre?

This place feels like my second home, not work. We have a wonderful team, everyone is different and has their own style and also we have ongoing in house training and peer support which you don’t get in other places.

How do you spend your spare time?

As a busy mum of 2, I barely get any; however I love nature, animals and swimming so in my free time I’m either in my garden , swimming pool or playing with my 2 wonderful dogs.

How would your friends describe you?

Hmmm ..you would have to ask them

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

My mum told me once to focus on positives and to always be grateful for what I have in my life, I practice this every day and it helps me to get through the difficult times.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Binge watching my favourite tv show over and over again

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done and why did you do it?

I took part in a white collar boxing fight last year having no prior boxing experience which was super scary. I lost on points but I absolutely loved the experience and raised a lot of money for my local youth centre.

I did it in a memory of my nephew who suddenly passed away last year .
